The Tome of Madness slot machine is a cascade slot where a combination is created by clusters of four or more identical symbols for a win. The winning symbols then disappear by dropping and new symbols fall down.
The Multiplier Wild symbol
If the Multiplier Wild is part of a winning combination it doubles the winnings. A Special Wild symbol with various features such as the Abyss Portal Effect feature and the Void Portal Effect feature then becomes eminent. There is also an Other World Free Round feature with 3 random Portal Effects. Finally, there are also the so-called Eye Marks. These are special positions that are in a random position on the slot at any given moment. As soon as the player has a winning combination in this position, two Special Wilds are added. This action then allows the Void or Abyss features to be activated.
Abyss feature
Special Wild symbols are added through the Eye Marks even when there is a winning combination of 7 or 14 symbols with two Special Wilds added. Void feature

If the Special Wild is part of a winning combination, the Void feature is activated. Void will select one random symbol and make it disappear from the screen, causing new symbols to fall down.
Tome of Madness’ Other World Free Round feature
The Other World Free Round feature can be activated as soon as there is a winning combination with 42 symbols. The player then receives one free spin with random Portal Effects. When the Portal is overloaded, an extra Portal Effect is added for every three winning symbols. A maximum of seven Portal Effects can be added. There are three different Portal Effects.
Mega Wild Cthulhu symbol
1. Special Wilds – four Special Wild symbols are placed in the playing field.
2. Abyss – four Special Wilds are again placed in the playing field. When these are now part of a winning combination, the Abyss feature is activated.
3. Void – here four Special Wild symbols are placed in the playing field. Only now is the Void feature activated when a Special Wild is part of a winning combination.
During Tome of Madness’s Other World Free Round feature, there are also 11 or 12 Eye Marks. You can open these by creating a winning combination in these markers. As soon as you manage to open them all, the Mega Wild Cthulhu will appear. This will move down one position with each cascade.
